I bought the car from Pastor Steve Dahrens after our car show at Academy Park in 2005. The motor was frozen up as were the brakes. We brought it home on a friends trailer. It rolled off of the trailer, into the shop, and it took out a portion of the wall. I took the motor and the transmission out and had them rebuilt. While that was being done, I stripped out the interior and I replaced the front floorboards and sealed and painted metal inside. I had Jerry's Upholstery replace the headliner.I cleaned up the electrical parts and replaced the bad items with new parts. I stripped the brake lines, master cylinder, callipers, and wheel cylinders. I replaced everything, including the gas tank and lines. I then stripped all the old paint from the body and removed many small dents, primed and painted it with Gulf Stream Aqua Metallic Green. We put on new tires and wheels also. All this took about 2 years to get done. As soon as I got the motor and transmission back in, I had Tim's Top Shop do the seats in cloth. This next year I plan to repaint the car, again with the same color.
