We went to the Pomona Swap Meet in January 1990, where we purchased the car from a man who lived in Escondido, Ca. He was really nice and said since he would be heading towards Sacramento in the next few weeks, he would trailer the car to our house in Lancaster. There was the typical floor rot, broken glass, there was no interior and there were wires hanging everywhere. After about 2 1/2 years it went to the body shop for paint. At that time, it had a small block 400 cu. in. and AMC Pacer rack and pinion steering. It came out of the body shop painted Corvette Quasar Blue. We attended many shows the way it was before we came to Oregon 2 1/2 years ago. Recently the front end was completely rebuilt and a new crate 350 engine was installed. A big THANK YOU goes out to Denny, Barb and Vince from D & B in Corvallis for all the engineering on the engine swap, front end, and steering work. We would like to have more things updated, but it has been a really fun car and a great car for use at weddings.
