I bought my 1966 Buick Skylark Convertible in Brownsville, Oregon on September 6th, 2006. I was told that it was too hard on the owner's wife's hair! I drove it straight to Roger Phillips in Albany for an appraisal. It was in pretty good shape except for some minor dents, mostly door dings. I put it in storage for six months until I came back from Arizona in March of 2007. I decided that Northwest Auto Fab, Correia's Custom Painting, and Jerry's Upholstery could restore her to my satisfaction. Keeping it a secret was the hard part. I didn't want everyone to know what I had until it was done. I waited until July 4th, 2007 to tell the car club about my newly restored car that I was about to show for the first time at the Philomath Car Show. It got it's first trophy that day, on it's first showing!
