I bought our 1962 Chevrolet Impala 2 door hardtop on August 31, 2009. My brother Dallas found the car for us. We are the 4th owners and everything is original. It was a local car tucked away in a shop/garage. When we first saw the car it was so covered with dust that we could not even see the interior. We went back the next day and the owner had washed the car. I purchased it, brought it home, and shined it up! It has the original 283 V8 motor with a standard shift 3 speed (three on the tree). I replaced the grille, had a dent taken out of the trunk, and a few other odds and ends. It needs more done to it but we are enjoying doing those things one at a time. It gives me something to look forward to. It runs great and is very reliable. It reminds us of the brand new 1964 Chevy Impala that I had when Connie and I were dating!
