Our 1935 Ford truck was built from the frame up by the very talented Jerry Enders of Stanfield, Oregon. It was purchased in August of 2002. I was very proud when it won an award at it's very first show! The truck took 2 1/2 years to build. The engine is a fuel injected 302 cu. in. from a 1983 Ford Crown Victoria with a competion cam and lifters and is mated to a 4 speed AOD transmission with a Locar shifter. Great fuel economy of 24/25 Miles per gallon! It has Mustang II front suspension with disc brakes, power steering, and Thrust Mark II wheels. The front has been dropped a bit, but the rake is mostly from smaller tires in the front. The rear brakes are drum type. The paint is Lavender and gray with clearcoat. The truck got some improvements in July of 2004, by the original builder. A complete 5 link with coil over shocks replaced the rear leaf springs and air shocks. This addition made it both corner and handle with much better control. In August of 2008 a Flaming River steering column was added. In addition, some rewiring was done and 4 way flashers were added, and the heater was also rewired.
